Sunday’s big AFC Championship showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs is a contest that has the potential to be one of the most exciting games of the entire 2023 NFL season.
It’s a matchup that features many layers, including a battle between two of the top quarterbacks in the league in Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes, and two of the NFL’s top head coaches in Andy Reid and John Harbaugh.
Who will come out on top when the Ravens host the Chiefs on Sunday?
That’s something that is still unknown, but NFL Network’s Peter Schrager shared how he believes this weekend’s matchup will turn out during a recent appearance on Kansas City’s official team website (via Kansas City Chiefs on Twitter).
“You’re going to have to find a different person, on a different network, on a different television show if you think I’m picking against [the Chiefs].”
“The Chiefs, they always find a way.”

Does Baltimore have enough talent on their roster to leave the field on Sunday with a stunning win over Kansas City?
Yes, they do, but is that going to be enough to get past a Chiefs team that has faced almost every hurdle imaginable during the last six years of the playoffs?
Jackson has been playing at an extremely elite level this season, and he’s likely on his way to winning his second NFL MVP award, despite only entering the league in 2018.
But Kansas City has Mahomes in their corner, and if we’ve learned anything from the last five years, sometimes that’s all the Chiefs need in order to get a win.
Unfortunately, one of them will be going home after Sunday’s big matchup.
