The Baltimore Ravens entered the AFC Championship with an abundance of confidence.
They were the AFC’s No. 1 seed heading into the playoffs, and they believed that they possessed the tools to take down any team.
While it was a tough fight, they ended up falling to the Kansas City Chiefs, 17-10.
The Chiefs found a way to stifle Lamar Jackson’s legs, forcing him to pass against their elite secondary.
With this in mind, the Ravens’ offense struggled, ultimately leading to the team’s downfall.
After the game, Jackson posted a tweet talking about how proud he was of his teammates, noting that they lost to a great team.
“I’m proud of all m brothers we was the 8-9 Ravens but fell A game short to the former champs hats Off to them,” Jackson posted.

The Chiefs have been one of the NFL’s best teams during the Patrick Mahomes era, and even in a down year, they found a way to make the Super Bowl.
While Jackson and the Ravens didn’t make it to the final game of the season, they can hold their heads high.
Jackson rewrote the narrative about his ability to win playoff games during the offseason and increased his standing in the public eye.
He proved that he is much more than a mobile quarterback, showing that he can get it done through the air as well.
The Ravens’ offense was well run this season, and assuming they have all of the same personnel in place in 2024, they will be in a place to contend again.
Plus, they had one of the league’s top defenses this year, so if that unit stays the same, they could once again be a force to be reckoned with.
