The Seattle Seahawks are one of the two remaining teams still looking to hire their next head coach after they parted ways with Pete Carroll earlier this offseason.
The team has spoken with a few candidates already but recently added a new potential hire from the Baltimore Ravens – defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald.
He will reportedly interview with Seahawks general manager John Schneider and the rest of the team’s leadership group on Tuesday, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano.
Per sources, Ravens DC Mike Macdonald is scheduled to meet in person with GM John Schneider and Seahawks leadership Tuesday morning to interview for Seattle’s head coach position.

Macdonald has been a hot head coaching candidate name all year after he helped orchestrate the No. 1 defense in the NFL this past season.
He took over two years ago after spending one season leading the Michigan Wolverines’ defense.
Macdonald previously coached for seven seasons with the Ravens in a variety of roles from 2014 to 2020.
The Seahawks, meanwhile, are looking for their first head coach since 2010 after the team moved Carroll to a front office role this offseason.
Carroll could still take another head coaching job in the future, but it appears that he’ll remain in Seattle in an advisory role in 2024.
The Seahawks missed the postseason this year after an up-and-down season and appear ready to start a new era in Seattle.
Former Seahawks and current Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson have also spoken with the team about the heading coaching role.
The Washington Commanders are the second team in need of a head coach and could leave the Seahawks as the only open role in the NFL if they make their hiring decision before Seattle does.
