With Patrick Mahomes helping the Kansas City Chiefs to the Super Bowl once again, the superstar quarterback is on the verge of headlining a dynasty while also making NFL history.
Although the defending Super Bowl champions weren’t expected to get this far in the NFL playoffs, with the team having its fair share of struggles this season, the Chiefs have the chance to win back-to-back titles.
Along with trying to be the first team to win back-to-back titles in over two decades, Mahomes is nearing a record held by Hall of Famer Peyton Manning ahead of the showdown with the San Francisco 49ers next month.
As pointed out by Bleacher Report, Mahomes is merely one win away from passing Manning for playoff wins, and he would accomplish the feat way before the two-time champion was able to reach his playoff win total.

Even before having the postseason success that Mahomes has had this season with the Chiefs, the superstar has gotten a lot of recognition as being one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and if he passes Manning here, he’ll continue to improve his chances of surpassing Tom Brady one day in terms of potentially being the greatest NFL quarterback of all time.
Heading into the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 11, the Chiefs will once again be the underdogs during this postseason, with the 49ers currently dubbed the favorites.
A lot can happen between now and kickoff on that Sunday, which can result in a change in odds, but as of right now, San Francisco is favored to win it all next month.
