The Baltimore Ravens had everything in their favor to get the job done on Sunday.
They were the home team, had the soon-to-be MVP, one of the best coaching staffs in the game, and the best defense in the league, and yet they couldn’t take care of business.
That’s why former player Willie Colon put Lamar Jackson on blast, blaming him for his team’s shortcomings.
Talking on The Carton Show, he talked about how Jackson had everything going on for him, and he still blew it with that late-game interception, adding that there’s no more room for excuses for him.
“There’s no more excuses, Lamar Jackson. You had the team, you had the coaches. This was your window and you blew it on that throw,” Colon said.

Colon pointed out the fact that the Ravens’ defense forced the Kansas City Chiefs to punt five times in the second half, not to mention that they held them scoreless.
Jackson overthrew receivers over and over and refused to leave the pocket and do what he does best, which is scrambling and making plays with his feet.
Also, the Ravens did not run the ball as much as they usually do in this game, and that has been widely criticized.
The game was within reach; it was just a seven-point difference, and Todd Monken’s offense went away from what worked out for them throughout the course of the entire season.
Now, their title window might close right before their eyes, and it’s going to be very difficult to change the narrative about Jackson and the postseason.
