No team has been more aggressive to improve their roster this offseason than the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Dodgers made a franchise-changing signing this offseason by landing Shohei Ohtani.
It was a 10-year, $700 million contract between the Dodgers and Ohtani.
The largest contract in North American sports history.
Ohtani will now be a part of the best roster in baseball and the favorites to win the World Series.
When it comes to individual achievements, Ohtani has them all.
But, he has yet to play in the postseason in his MLB career.
It seems very likely he will get his first chance at that this season.
The Dodgers posted a video to Twitter of Ohtani working out this offseason, and he seems to be in great shape and ready to chase another MVP award.

Ohtani is known for his two-way ability.
Unfortunately, he will not be able to pitch in 2024 as he recovers from elbow surgery.
Still, he is one of the best hitters in baseball and should be in for a career year.
Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman all in the same lineup almost seems unfair.
This should be the highest-scoring team in baseball and is a great bet to be the number-one seed in the NL.
Ohtani will most likely be in Dodger blue for the rest of his career.
Anything short of at least one world championship would be a major disappointment.
Also, Ohtani has a chance to be on a shortlist of players to win an MVP in both leagues.
The expectations for Ohtani with the Dodgers are sky-high, but that comes with the contract he signed.
