The 2023 NFL Season has been host to several storylines that have been on full display throughout the year.
Taylor Swift has been a big story for the Kansas City Chiefs, referee issues have potentially decided many games, and several other topics have been at the forefront.
One of the biggest stories for many teams this year was massive injuries, which forced them to rely on unconventional players.
The Cleveland Browns were one team that saw significant injuries plague players up and down their roster.
Deshaun Watson was supposed to have a bounceback season, but his shoulder injury prevented him from being as efficient as the team wanted him to be.
Nick Chubb tore his ACL early in the season, forcing Kareem Hunt to have a bigger role in the running back room.
While Hunt finished out the season, Jeremy Fowler recently indicated that he was playing hurt for most of the year.
Fowler reported that Hunt is now having surgery for a ruptured adductor, hoping to get right ahead of the 2024 season.

While this is a serious injury, Hunt was able to play through it, which added significant value to the Browns’ offense.
He and Jerome Ford were the team’s two primary backs for most of the season, including the playoffs.
Hunt will now enter free agency once again.
