The San Francisco 49ers have the edge over the Kansas City Chiefs in most positions.
Needless to say, the Chiefs clear them by a significant margin at quarterback, but the Niners have a plethora of stars all over the field.
Notably, that’s even more evident when you take a look at both offensive lines.
Having Trent Williams on the field is a huge win for Kyle Shanahan’s team, as he’s one of the most dominant forces in the game, and it’s not even close.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Mark Schlereth said on The Carton Show that Williams could be the best football player on the field in the Super Bowl.
“Trent Williams is probably the best football player in this game,” Schlereth said.

Of course, linemen don’t get as much recognition as skill players, so that could be a bit of a controversial statement.
Then again, it is a fact that Williams is one of the biggest difference-makers in the game, and the Niners suffered when he wasn’t available due to injury.
Still, from that to calling him the best football player on the field when you also have the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, Chris Jones, and Nick Bosa, however, could be a bit of a reach.
At the end of the day, that’s the beauty of this football game.
It’s not so usual to see two teams so stacked with talent making it to the final game of the season.
And while the Niners are slightly favored by most oddsmakers right now, this game will be almost impossible to predict.
