The Kansas City Chiefs continue to be the team to beat in the National Football League.
Seemingly everybody talked about how they were not the same and not as good this season, yet they’re back in the Super Bowl.
And while they’ve caught some big breaks along the way, it’s also become evident that teams just don’t play the same way whenever Patrick Mahomes is in town.
That’s why NFL analyst Nick Wright believes everybody is afraid of the Chiefs.
Talking on his “What’s Wright?” show, he stated that teams start doing all these weird things when they play the Chiefs because they’re just terrified of Mahomes.
“Every team in the league is afraid of the Chiefs,” Wright said.

He believes that seeing Andy Reid and Mahomes on the other sideline makes people think that they’re going to have to score 30 points to have a chance to beat them.
Not many pundits or even fans had any sort of faith in this Chiefs team.
Everybody gave Mahomes his flowers and acknowledged his greatness, yet they still thought they wouldn’t be able to make it this far.
Fast forward to today, and the Chiefs are just one win away from becoming the first back-to-back Super Bowl champion since the New England Patriots pulled it off in the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
The only question remaining will be whether people have finally learned their lesson or if they’ll go against them again and choose the San Francisco 49ers to beat them, and whether the Niners will play a normal game or will also be afraid of the defending champions.
