The 2023 season was a difficult one for the Tennessee Titans.
They struggled to find consistency at the quarterback position, which is typically a sign of a dysfunctional NFL roster.
This will still be a question mark heading into the 2024 campaign unless the team makes a big free-agent signing or if they move up in the draft.
While the future of the team has been in limbo throughout the offseason, the Titans front office has had their hands full.
After Mike Vrabel was fired, the Titans quickly conducted interviews to find their newest head coach.
They landed on Brian Callahan, a surprising pick to many, but this decision has since been viewed favorably.
The Titans also needed a new offensive coordinator, which they have recently filled, according to Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport indicated that Nick Holz will be the team’s newest OC, coming over from his most recent role with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Prior to joining the Jags, Holz was the UNLV OC and was on the #Raiders staff before that. Now, sticks in Tennessee. pic.twitter.com/z6POaG0MuD

Holz was the passing game coordinator in Jacksonville.
With any luck, his experience with Trevor Lawrence will pay dividends with whoever the Titans decide to roll out at quarterback this year.
The team’s decision will likely be between Will Levis and Malik Willis, provided the team moves on from Ryan Tannehill.
With this in mind, 2024 could be a rebuilding year for the Titans, unless Holz and Callahan can work their magic early.
The AFC South was wide open in 2023, but with the Indianapolis Colts, Jaguars, and Houston Texans all having their quarterbacks of the future, it could be a tough start for a new coaching staff.
