After a resurgent second half of the 2023 NFL regular season, the Buffalo Bills seemed to finally find their groove, with many believing this could be the year the storied franchise would finally win that elusive Vince Lombardi Trophy.
The Bills finished the regular season by winning six of their last seven games, winning the AFC East division title, and punching their ticket to the NFL playoffs.
With the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs seemingly in a down year, the Bills appeared to have their best chance of making a deep run in the postseason while potentially being the team to represent the AFC in the big game.
Unfortunately, Buffalo fell flat once again in the playoffs, with Patrick Mahomes and company coming into Highmark Stadium as confident as ever and coming out with a win to advance to the AFC Championship Game.
One noticeable issue during the playoff showdown between the Chiefs and Bills was star wide receiver Stefon Diggs’s failure to make an impact.
He finished the game with three catches for 21 yards on four targets.
The consensus after the game was Diggs had played his last down for the Bills, which now seems even more likely after his comments at the Pro Bowl about his future in Buffalo, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN.
“I can’t tell you what the future holds, but I’m still being me,” Diggs said.
NEW: Talked to Stefon Diggs at the Pro Bowl today and he offered somewhat cryptic comments about what lies ahead for him and the Bills.

Although Diggs has four years remaining on his contract with the Bills, the team could trade him during the NFL offseason.
Even though he had a forgettable playoff performance, Buffalo still might be able to get value in return for Diggs.
