The Seattle Seahawks may have won their Monday Night Football matchup against the New York Giants, but it came with a price.
Jamal Adams suffered a concussion during this game and was immediately ruled out for the remainder of the contest.
After missing the majority of the 2022 season, this was a devasting blow to Adams and the Seahawks’ defense.
However, Pete Carroll has recently provided a positive update, shared via Pro Football Focus.
Carroll called Adams’ injury a “little glitch,” adding Adams will “be fine.”

This is great news for the Seahawks, as it appears they will not be without their dynamic playmaker for long.
Adams is a six-year NFL veteran who spent the first three years of his career with the New York Jets.
After a massive trade, he has since been a valued member of the Seahawks’ secondary.
Having him back on the field as soon as possible should help the Seahawks on their quest to make the playoffs again this year.
The Seahawks captured some magic in Geno Smith’s first season under center, which began with a rocky start this season.
However, after rattling off three straight wins, the Seahawks have shown they are still resilient, rallying around Smith.
If their defense continues to be strong, and if Adams returns to play soon, all should be well for the Seahawks.
They’ll have their work cut out for them in the NFC West, given the strength of the San Francisco 49ers and a surging Los Angeles Rams roster.
