The New York Giants fell to the Seattle Seahawks in their Monday Night Football matchup, bringing their record to 1-3.
After a season in which they made the playoffs and won a postseason game, this is not the start that Giants fans hoped for.
Brian Daboll addressed the fans during a postgame press conference.
When asked about the current state of the Giants, and if he’s lost some fan support, Daboll said, “I’d be upset too, if I was a fan.”

Daboll’s efforts with the Giants last year were good enough for him to take home the Coach of the Year honors.
He made an instant impact with this team, gaining the respect and admiration of players and fans alike.
For some reason, the Giants have been unable to recapture the magic they found last year.
As a result, Daboll has needed to make statements like this to the media, consoling fans after difficult games.
This was the Giants’ third double-digit loss of the season.
Not only have they been losing games, but they have been losing them in blowout fashion.
This can demonstrate a lack of effort to a fanbase, especially if it is a pattern that continues throughout the season.
Daniel Jones was signed to a massive contract extension in the offseason, but he hasn’t quite lived up to the hype yet.
Will Daboll get his team back on track, helping recapture their efforts from last season?
Or, will the Giants continue this downward spiral, resulting in more questions being asked of Daboll and his leadership?
