The San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs have landed in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl.
Both teams have been given different facilities to practice, as the 49ers are practicing at UNLV, while the Chiefs are at the Las Vegas Raiders facility.
While these facilities were initially deemed suitable for Super Bowl-caliber teams to practice on, the 49ers have been less than ecstatic about the UNLV field.
Craig Carton discussed this in a recent segment of his show, saying, “They’re already setting something up for an excuse.”

Carton believes that, if the 49ers end up losing the big game to the Chiefs, they could blame poor practice conditions as a reason for their loss.
The Chiefs had their number in the Super Bowl four years ago, but many have touted the 49ers to be the better team, on paper.
They are currently viewed as 2.5-point favorites by the majority of Las Vegas sportsbooks, an indicator that they have a slight edge.
However, with Patrick Mahomes on the other side of the ball, as many other teams have found out, the Chiefs always seem to find ways to stay in games.
No matter what the conditions are for the 49ers, they will have to stay focused if they want to try and get revenge in this Super Bowl rematch from a few years ago.
Young Brock Purdy and the rest of the 49ers will need to do everything they can to adequately get ready for this game, bad field or not.
