San Francisco 49ers star Charvarius Ward already knows what it feels like to reach this stage.
The veteran cornerback already played in a Super Bowl when he was with the Kansas City Chiefs.
As a matter of fact, this will be the third time in his career he plays in one of those games, as he’s already won and lost a Super Bowl before.
Notably, Ward was on the winning squad when the Chiefs beat his current team four years ago.
However, when asked about his previous experience, he threw a little shade at his former organization, claiming that it’s much better to reach this stage with the Niners than it was with the Chiefs (via 95.7 The Game).
“It’s better over here. [In] every way,” Ward said.

Truth be told, Ward has fared better since taking his talents to the Bay area as a free agent.
He signed a three-year deal in 2022, and he made an immediate impact.
He’s coming off logging 72 total tackles and a career-best five interceptions this season, including his first career touchdown with on a pick-six.
He played under Andy Reid for four years after signing with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Middle Tennessee State.
Needless to say, he’s pretty familiar with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ offense, and he’ll look to show his former team what they missed when they let him walk away.
This will be one of the biggest storylines of the ultimate game, and it’ll be interesting to see who gets the last laugh this time.
