The Philadelphia Eagles’ season had a tough end.
The team was fresh off a trip to the Super Bowl and had the best record in the league at one point, but they couldn’t keep that pace up.
Nick Sirianni made some questionable decisions, the coaching staff changed, and the players struggled to stay healthy.
It was a recipe for disaster, and it wasn’t much of a surprise to see them lose on the road in the Wild Card round after the way they finished the regular season.
Notably, it seemed like that was the end of the line for Jason Kelce.
There were rumors about the veteran center being ready to call it quits.
He later dismissed those rumors and claimed that even though retirement is a real possibility, he wouldn’t rush to make such a decision right after an emotional loss.
Now, he told a fan who urged him not to retire that he’s going to “try not to,” so it seems like he’s leaning toward coming back for at least another season (via Crossing Board).

Kelce has accomplished everything in the league.
He’s a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, and some consider him to be the greatest center of all time.
Obviously, playing that position for such a long time takes a huge toll on your body, and he’s doing quite well off the field to be comfortable walking away from the game.
Then again, it seems like it’s going to be on his own terms, and he might not be ready to ride into the sunset just yet.
