The New York Giants lost to the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football, bringing their season record to 1-3.
For a team that is one year removed from an unlikely playoff berth, this has been a startling start to the year.
Daniel Jones took this loss personally, as demonstrated by his postgame comments.
According to Jones via New York Post Sports, “I’ve gotta fix it, I gotta work hard to get it right and I’m gonna do that.”

Jones ended the game with 203 passing yards and two interceptions.
Having two picks in the same game isn’t typically a recipe for success in the NFL, which Jones recognized.
Playing mistake-free football is imperative, especially for teams that are struggling.
Turning the ball over is demoralizing to both sides of the ball, making it difficult to stay in games.
With a record of 1-3, the Giants now have an outside chance to make the playoffs.
Jones appears committed to improving, hoping to lead his team on another impressive run similar to his 2022 campaign.
The 2022 season was the best of Jones’ career, which was a big reason for his contract extension in the offseason.
He threw for 3,205 yards, 15 touchdowns, and just five interceptions, adding 708 rushing yards to his season total.
If Jones wants to get back to that level of production, his changes will need to come quickly, especially to give the Giants a shot.
Their next three opponents are the Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and Washington Commanders.
Each of these teams holds a .500 or better record, which could be trouble for Jones’ Giants.
