The New England Patriots appear to be in the market for a new quarterback.
Mac Jones’ on-field play hasn’t inspired much confidence, and with the Patriots having the third-overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft, they could be in the market for a quarterback given the strength of the class.
The Patriots might not have a chance for Caleb Williams, but they could certainly draft one of the other top QB prospects.
Kendrick Bourne recently spoke with NBC Sports Boston, and in a clip shared by Savage Sports, he said, “I like Jayden Daniels. I’m a Jayden Daniels fan.”

Bourne is one of the Patriots’ top receivers.
If he is a fan of Daniels, the reigning Heisman winner, it could be an indication of what the organization feels about him.
The Patriots’ regime is shifting, as Jerod Mayo has taken over as their newest head coach, ending the long-time reign of Bill Belichick.
With a new head coach, the Patriots could be looking for an entirely new offensive scheme, which is where Daniels could fit in.
He is a mobile quarterback with elite throwing ability as well as a strong ground game, a formula that hasn’t previously existed for the Patriots.
Tom Brady was a pocket passer for the majority of his career, something they have gotten used to.
If they go away from the style of quarterback that Brady and Jones were, they might just be able to unlock this offense in a big way if they draft Daniels.
