The Dallas Cowboys had one of their best chances to reach the Super Bowl in years.
They could’ve had back-to-back home playoff games, and they had won sixteen games in a row at AT&T Stadium.
That’s why it was so shocking to see the Green Bay Packers, who made it to the playoffs as the seventh seed and were the youngest team in the playoffs in quite a while, dominate them so easily.
With that in mind, Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe asked star DE Demarcus Lawrence why he thought his team lost to the Packers.
“In all honesty, I think the main thing was that we we’re burned out,” Lawrence said.

Lawrence tipped his hat to the Packers, claiming that they did exactly what they needed to do and had a game plan.
He praised them for managing to neutralize both Micah Parsons and himself.
Truth be told, it seemed like Lawrence was being politically correct, and he didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus, which is just what leaders and veteran players do.
At the end of the day, Matt LaFleur and the Packers deserve all the credit in the world for their game plan and their execution, and there’s simply no way to take anything away from them.
Then again, one can’t help but feel like the Cowboys also dropped the ball under pressure.
They had everything going for them to make a deep postseason run, and they wound up going one-and-done instead.
