Baltimore Ravens star Lamar Jackson ran away with the second MVP award of his young career.
Notably, he was one vote shy of winning the award unanimously.
With that in mind, NFL analyst Skip Bayless took to Twitter to take a friendly jab at Richard Sherman, asking if he was the only guy who didn’t vote for the Louisville product.
Lamar got only 49 of 50 MVP votes? Who didn’t vote for him? Richard Sherman?

Sherman has often been unfazed by Jackson and what he’s been able to do, and he doubted his ability to get the job done in the playoffs.
He was right, as Jackson couldn’t shake his postseason woes and left a lot to be desired in the AFC Championship Game.
Also, his numbers weren’t exactly MVP-worthy when compared to other quarterbacks, but he was the best regular-season player on the best regular-season team in the league, and that’s what it’s all about.
Jackson excelled against winning teams all season long, which is why he ended up beating the likes of Dak Prescott, Tua Tagovailoa, and Brock Purdy, who were also leading candidates for most of the season.
Then again, the MVP award has become a quarterback-exclusive award now, and that’s not always fair.
Christian McCaffrey, Tyreek Hill, and Myles Garrett all posted MVP-caliber numbers and had a huge impact on their respective teams, yet they didn’t draw any consideration for the award.
Hopefully, the league will revisit that at some point soon, and maybe they should make another award just for quarterbacks, so other players finally get recognition for their hard work.
