Against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Patrick Mahomes will be attempting to lead the Kansas City Chiefs to their third Super Bowl victory since he took over as the team’s starting quarterback in 2018.
If Mahomes and the Chiefs are able to get a win this weekend, they will be viewed by many as the newest dynasty in the NFL, following the New England Patriots and their two decades of dominance.
Some might think it could be challenging for Kansas City to stay motivated, given all of their success during the last few seasons.
But Mahomes recently shared a video on his Instagram account that proves the quarterback and the rest of his Chiefs teammates have plenty to be motivated about when they take on the 49ers on Sunday (via Braiden Turner on Twitter).

The video shared by Mahomes features highlights of Kansas City from the past season with audio from multiple national sports analysts casting their doubt on the team’s chances to get a win in the Super Bowl over San Francisco this weekend.
Some of the best athletes in the history of sports find even the smallest bit of doubt to get motivated for a big moment, and it seems like Mahomes has done this before the Super Bowl on Sunday.
He could easily have all of the confidence in the world (and he still probably does) heading into the contest against the 49ers, but the fact that there are multiple people doubting the Chiefs this weekend is clearly enough to fuel the All-Pro quarterback for 60 minutes on Sunday.
