The Kansas City Chiefs were shrouded in rumors throughout the regular and postseason.
Rumors surrounding Travis Kelce’s potential retirement ran rampant, as did several comments about his relationship status with Taylor Swift.
Andy Reid’s name has also come up a lot, and after the team won another Super Bowl, many believed he would end his career on a high note.
However, Chiefs owner Clark Hunt dispelled these rumors in a postgame conversation with James Palmer.
Hunt said, “I expect Andy to be back next year as we go for the 3-peat.”

With this win over the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs now have a chance to do something that has never been accomplished in NFL history.
They have a chance to win three straight Super Bowls, which would further cement the legacy of everyone on this team.
Reid would have another notch on his already impressive coaching belt, and Patrick Mahomes would have another accolade to add to his resume.
The Chiefs have been in the AFC Championship in every year of Mahomes’ career, and they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.
Finding long-standing NFL success is tough to do, but the Chiefs have seemingly found the keys to making that happen.
Reid is viewed as one of the best coaches in NFL history, and while he is getting older, the team continues to grow and build around him.
He still has control of the locker room, and since the team keeps winning, he might as well stick around and enjoy the ride.
