The Kansas City Chiefs are the new dynasty in football.
Patrick Mahomes has turned this team into the NFL’s driving force, and it’s starting to feel oddly familiar to the beginning of the Tom Brady era.
As a matter of fact, No. 15 is actually off to a better start to his career than Brady was.
With that in mind, and following his performance on Super Bowl LVIII, it’s not a surprise to see that he’s the way too early favorite to win MVP next season, according to ProFootballTalk:
“At BetMGM, Mahomes is +600 to be the regular-season MVP, followed by Josh Allen at +800 and Joe Burrow at +900,” according to PFT.

Mahomes entered this season as one of the top-three candidates as well.
But his team struggled mightily on offense, and we even saw him frustrated and bursting out at the referees at some point in the season.
Even so, and even in his worst year since becoming a starter, he wound up leading his team to the final game of the season and taking care of business there.
Mahomes has now reaffirmed his position as the undisputed alpha dog in the league.
Also, after watching his team struggle to move the chains this season, the Chiefs are most definitely going to address their obvious need for more talent at the wide receiver position.
This may have been the best shot to take Mahomes and the Chiefs down, and the league didn’t make the most of it.
Now, they might not even have another chance.
