The Kansas City Chiefs are in a tier of their own right now.
Now, we’re just entering the Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes era.
Following their win in Super Bowl LVIII, the duo reaffirmed it’s status as one of the greatest QB-HC combos of all-time.
Needless to say, it takes a lot to develop such a special partnership.
It’s not just about football but also about personality, and Mahomes is a big fan of his coach.
Talking on NFL Total Access, he admitted that he loves the fact that Andy Reid doesn’t change the way he plays; he just refines it.
“Coach Reid let’s you be you. He doesn’t change the way I play, he just refines it,” Mahomes said.

He claimed that coach Reid allows him to be himself out there, and that has helped him be the best quarterback he could possibly be.
Mahomes has yet to turn 29 years old, yet he’s already won three Super Bowls in five years, reaching the AFC Championship Game in every single season he’s been a starter.
Some thought it was impossible to even fathom the fact that someone could challenge Tom Brady’s records, let alone so soon after he walked away from the game, but here we are.
