The Chicago Bears have a big decision to make over the next few months.
With the No. 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Bears have a lot of power at their disposal, especially knowing the number of great quarterback prospects that are slated to be drafted.
Many fans and analysts are starting to believe that the team will move away from Justin Fields in 2024, taking a quarterback like Caleb Williams or Drake Maye to replace him.
While Fields’ on-field play hasn’t resulted in the wins the Bears were expecting when they drafted him, a recent report indicates that he still has command of the locker room and the respect of his teammates.
In an article shared by Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun Times, Fields’ teammate D.J. Moore said, “I advocated for Fields, and to see it come through would be amazing, but even if it doesn’t, I’ll still be happy.”
I asked Bears TE Cole Kmet what he knows about QB Caleb Williams and of course he said, “I know that Notre Dame beat him.”
He added, “I’ve heard he can make all the throws and those types of things… I’ve heard a lot of good things.”https://t.co/hJsDz2Lwu2

Moore also put a bow on this statement by saying, “But, it’d be nice to see Justin stay.”
While Moore would like Fields to stick around for another year, he seems to believe that the front office has the team’s best interests in mind.
If a player like Williams is who they want to move forward with, he seems to be supportive of their decision.
He is one of the most highly touted quarterback prospects in recent history, and if he lives up to the hype, he could make a monumental impact on the Bears’ offense.
It doesn’t matter how well Fields is liked, if a new quarterback’s presence results in more wins, that person will eventually win everyone over.
