Patrick Mahomes is fresh off his second straight Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs, the third of his career.
He is already a legendary player for the Chiefs and has made history with the amount of winning he has done to this point.
Despite his early success, Mahomes understands that he has a lot of work to do to catch some of the all-time greats.
He recently appeared on the Pat McAfee Show, where he highlighted, “Tom Brady is the greatest of all time, and I like being compared to him.”

Some Chiefs fans or analysts might be quick to say that Mahomes is already the best, but he has a lot of career in front of him.
Yes, it is impressive what he has done to this point, but Brady sustained his dominance in a 20+ year NFL career.
Mahomes just completed his sixth season as the Chiefs’ full-time starter.
If he keeps this pace up, he will surely pass Brady’s record of seven Super Bowl rings, but Mahomes wants to be realistic about his standing on the all-time leaderboards.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Mahomes’ career, especially after Travis Kelce eventually retires.
Kelce has been his friend and No. 1 target throughout his NFL journey, and if he is no longer an option to throw to, Mahomes will need to find a new top option.
Whenever that happens, Mahomes’ greatness will be tested, as the Chiefs hope he can have success without a top-ten tight end in league history.
