The Chicago Bears have a crucial decision to make right now.
To some, it’s not an easy call, as some people still think Justin Fields is a franchise-caliber quarterback, and they should look to build around him.
To others, it should be a no-brainer, as not only is Caleb Williams one of the most talented quarterback prospects we’ve seen in years, but he’d also be on a rookie contract, so the Bears wouldn’t have to spend big bucks on his contract.
With that in mind, former NFL star Plaxico Burress argued that as much as the Pittsburgh Steelers make sense for Fields and vice versa, he actually believes he would be better off with the Atlanta Falcons.
Talking on The Carton Show, Burress made a case for the Falcons being just one quarterback away from being able to compete in the NFC South, especially considering the offensive talent they have with the likes of Drake London, Bijan Robinson, and Kyle Pitts.
“Everybody’s saying that Atlanta’s one quarterback from being able to compete in the NFC South,” Burress said.

Oddsmakers believe the Steelers are currently the frontrunners to land the former Ohio State star, followed by him staying with the Bears or joining the Falcons.
He’s also a Georgia native, so heading back home would obviously make sense for him.
The New England Patriots, Washington Commanders, Denver Broncos, and Las Vegas Raiders could also express an interest in acquiring his services.
Still, this might be Fields’ final chance to prove that he has what it takes to be a star in the league, regardless of where he plays.
