The New Orleans Saints have found a new stellar run-game coordinator.
According to a report by Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report, they’re going to hire veteran coach Rick Dennison.
Dennison is one of the most respected run-game coordinators, and he’s known for his ability to develop offensive linemen.

Dennison is a 3x Super Bowl winning coach with the #Broncos, who was last with Minnesota from 2019-2021.

Dennison is quite familiar with the Saints’ new offensive coordinator, Klint Kubiak, as they overlapped in Minnesota when Dennison was the Vikings’ offensive line coach.
The 65-year-old started his coaching career as an assistant for the Denver Broncos.
He later joined the Houston Texans as their offensive coordinator and also had stints with the Baltimore Ravens as QBs coach before returning to Mile High to be the Broncos’ offensive coordinator.
Dennison has also worked for the Buffalo Bills as offensive coordinator, the New York Jets as offensive line coach and run game coordinator, and he also served as a senior offensive assistant for the Vikings.
He’s won three Super Bowls in his career, and the Saints will hope he and Kubiak can work their magic to bring this team back to life after a disappointing first season with Derek Carr at quarterback.
The NFC South is still wide open and up for grabs, and it’s hard to think of someone more qualified to take this position than Rick Dennison.
