The 2024 NFL Season will be the start of a new generation of head coaches.
There have been a lot of shakeups during the offseason, with older coaches retiring or leaving their respective jobs.
Bill Belichick and Pete Carroll are the two most notable exits, as they have been staples of the NFL for a long time.
While they will certainly be missed by fans, there has been an exciting development with Carroll’s son, Nathan.
Tom Pelissero has recently reported that Nathan Carroll will join the Carolina Panthers’ coaching staff as their pass game coordinator.
The #Panthers hired Nathan Carroll, the son of Pete Carroll, as their pass game coordinator. A reunion with Dave Canales and Dan Morgan from their Seattle days.

His father might be out of the league, but Panthers fans will be able to experience the next best thing.
Nathan has been an NFL coach in some capacity since 2011.
He has spent the entirety of his career with the Seattle Seahawks to this point, holding various titles throughout the years.
His most recent title was as a senior offensive assistant with the Seahawks.
Nathan has plenty of NFL experience, which could be a necessary characteristic for this Panthers team that had the worst record in the NFL last season.
Pairing him with Dave Canales and Dan Morgan could end up being a great thing for this team, especially since the three of them have familiarity from their time on the Seahawks.
It will be interesting to see how much the Panthers change from 2023 to 2024, especially since their quarterback is the same.
Bryce Young was taken with the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s draft, and while he showed flashes at times, there is a lot of work to do.
