With the Super Bowl officially in the books, the NFL and it’s teams can focus on the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft.
Draft season is one of the most exciting times in the league’s offseason as teams and fans are researching the next generation of players to enter the NFL.
This year’s class is particularly deep on the offensive side of football, and the real prizes are the quarterbacks projected to go at the top of the draft.
Every organization understands that they need a good quarterback in order to win in the playoffs, making it important that they either acquire one via free agency, trade, or draft.
Normally, there are one or two quarterbacks worthy of being drafted in the first round, but this year features several that could go in the first round.
Field Yates listed five names he believes could go in the first round this year via Get Up on ESPN.
“Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, J.J. McCarthy, Bo Nix,” Yates listed.

Caleb Williams has been widely projected to go first overall to the Chicago Bears or the team that trades for the pick.
The debate between Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye has been ongoing for months, with each signal caller having a case to be taken somewhere in the top-3.
Meanwhile, J.J. McCarthy and Bo Nix are considered to be in the next tier of quarterbacks and have a wider range of outcomes.
With several quarterback-needy teams, it’ll be interesting to see where each prospect ends up come draft day.
