The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are ready to enter the new era of their offense.
With Todd Bowles still as the main guy, new offensive coordinator Liam Coen will take the torch from Dave Canales, who left to join the Carolina Panthers as their head coach.
Now, Coen will reportedly lure another current member of the University of Kentucky coaching staff to join him at Raymond James Stadium.
According to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Coen will bring Brian Picucci to serve as his assistant offensive line coach.

Picucci served as a quality control coach for the Wildcats last season, but his relationship with Coen goes a long way back.
They worked together at UMass from 2005 to 2008.
He also comes with experience as an offensive assistant and quality control coach during Matt Patricia’s failed tenure with the Detroit Lions in 2018 and 2019.
Tampa Bay will now have to reach an agreement with Baker Mayfield and Mike Evans for a new deal.
Mayfield is fully expected to return to the team, and rumors state that he’s about to fetch a very lucrative multi-year deal after his solid play in his first year with the organization.
As for Evans, he’s been vocal about his desire to stay in Tampa for the remainder of his career, but both parties were unable to strike a deal last season, so it’ll be interesting to see if they’re able to get through their impasse now.
