The San Francisco 49ers should be as good as they were this season in the foreseeable future.
That’s why it’s not much of a surprise to see them lead the odds to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl again next season.
We find the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions next, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers.
However, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes no one should sleep on the Los Angeles Rams.
In the latest edition of his show, he talked about how they proved that they could compete at a high level with a healthy Matthew Stafford, adding that they could be just another good draft away from being a legitimate threat in the NFC:
“If they have another good draft, you cannot sleep on the Rams being a team that could cause some damage late in the year,” he said.

Even though they were expected to be bottom-feeders last season, they wound up surprising plenty of their detractors in 2023.
The Rams struck gold with Puka Nacua and will still have Cooper Kupp in the passing game as well.
They’re a well-coached team with a bright offensive mind in Sean McVay, and while they lost defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, they still have the pieces to make some noise there as well, obviously led by Aaron Donald.
The Rams got off to a slow start to the season and then rallied late in the year to make the playoffs, and they were close to taking down the Detroit Lions on the road.
They’re divisional rivals with the Niners, so they know them pretty well, and that must not be overlooked, either.
