The New York Jets’ Super Bowl aspirations lasted less than a full offensive drive.
Aaron Rodgers tore his Achilles four plays into the season, right after an epic introduction in which he led the team and waved the American flag onto the field.
But as tough as it was for the team, Rodgers’ spirit remains unwavering.
The legendary quarterback is working on his rehab, and in his recent appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” he revealed that he’s rehabbing with Baltimore Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins (via Kevin Oestreicher).
Jets QB Aaron Rodgers reveals he’s been working and rehabbing with Ravens RB J.K. Dobbins, as both tore their Achilles tendon

Rodgers raved about Dobbins as a player and a person, stating that they’re both pushing each other to get back on the field after suffering the very same injury and undergoing the same surgery.
The former Green Bay Packers star recently hinted at potentially coming back at some point in the season, but that seems highly unlikely for many reasons.
For starters, it would only be worth it if the Jets are actually in postseason contention, and that would take Zach Wilson to turn things around soon.
If that’s the case, then why replace him with an aging quarterback coming off a major injury instead of allowing Rodgers to heal properly and get back on the field next season?
Even so, the Jets still have hopes for Rodgers as a big part of the franchise’s future.
Granted that he may not have that many years left in his career, but all they need is one season from him and they could finally put an end to that decades-long Super Bowl drought.
