The NFL is gearing up for free agency, but they’ve also got an eye on the 2024 NFL Draft set to take place in a couple of months.
Draft season is always one of the most exciting times in the NFL offseason calendar and this year is particularly fun because of the offensive talent.
This year’s draft has several franchise-worthy quarterback prospects, as well as a host of wide receivers and offensive linemen that teams can legitimately build their offenses around.
The quarterback conversation has been the main talking point as Caleb Williams and Drake Maye are often regarded as the likely No. 1 and No. 2 picks.
Williams and Maye had stellar 2023 seasons for USC and UNC, respectively, and aren’t expected to wait long to hear their names called on draft day.
However, former NFL quarterback David Carr said he would not mind using the first overall pick on LSU’s Jayden Daniels via NFL Total Access.
“I would have no problem sending the card in for the 1st overall pick right now,” Carr said.

Daniels boosted his stock more than any other player this season as he put up video game numbers en route to winning the Heisman Trophy.
Daniels is the most athletic quarterback in his class and has a strong arm that he displayed throughout the season.
Although he can be reckless running with the football and is relatively thin for the position, he’s still got traits that teams salivate over.
Williams is still likely to go first overall, but the debate between Maye and Daniels as the second quarterback off the board is heating up.
