The New York Giants and Saquon Barkley are on the verge of a divorce.
The Penn State product has been their best offensive player for years now, yet the team doesn’t seem to be so high on him.
Their struggles date back to last season when they refused to sign him to a long-term deal and used that cap space on Daniel Jones.
Barkley has talked a lot about his desire to stay with the Giants, but that just doesn’t seem likely at this point, as reports state they’re not going to place him under the franchise tag.
Considering that, former Giants star Victor Cruz talked about some potential fits for him.
Talking on The Carton Show, Cruz stated that he knows Barkley wants to play for a team that could give him an opportunity to contend and play for a Super Bowl.
“Saquon wants to go to a place where he can contend and can win a Super Bowl,” Cruz said.

Those teams include two former divisional rivals, such as the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, as well as the Houston Texans.
The Cowboys could definitely use an upgrade over Tony Pollard, and the Eagles are already stacked.
Also, having the chance to get back at the Giants’ front office twice a year should be quite appealing.
The Texans, on the other hand, might be able to offer him the most money, all while pairing him with one of the most promising young quarterbacks in the game.
Whatever the case, all signs point towards this being the end of the line in the Big Apple for Saquon Barkley.
