The Dallas Cowboys are in a tough spot right now.
They’re on the verge of contending for a Super Bowl, and they objectively have one of the best teams in the league, but their quarterback has proven that he cannot win big games.
Dak Prescott is just 2-5 in the postseason in his career, and he couldn’t get the job done last season again, not even in his best campaign.
However, the Cowboys are pretty much stuck with him right now, as there’s simply nobody else who could be a better fit for them.
At least, that’s what former NFL player Willie Colon seems to think.
“Dak Prescott is the BEST quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Bottom line,” Colon said.

Talking on The Carton Show, Colon explained that the Dallas Cowboys cannot trade Prescott for, say, a rookie quarterback, as promising as it may be, because they don’t know whether he’s going to be able to lead them to success next season.
Prescott might not be the kind of quarterback who should be the highest-paid player in the league and reset the QB market, not with the way he’s performed when it matters the most.
Then again, that’s just the nature of business and how things go in the National Football League.
They can only hope to structure his deal in a way that allows them to get rid of him somewhere down the line while they pursue another quarterback for the future, but he has absolutely no incentive to agree to that kind of structure.
Dak isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.
