The Philadelphia Phillies seemingly have the best home-field advantage in baseball.
Seeing their fans come out in full force was exactly what the Phillies needed.
All the players want to play their best in front of that fanbase.
Every starter showed out in a big way en route to a 4-1 Game 1 victory.
According to ESPN Stats & Info, the Phillies had nine players with a hit in Game 1.
That is tied for the most in a playoff game in franchise history.

Every hitter played their part in helping the Phillies win this game.
Trea Turner and Nick Castellanos led the way with two hits each.
While every other starter had one hit.
Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler set the tone for the game in the first inning.
He shut the Marlins down all night long and gave the ballpark something to be excited about.
Winning a World Series takes so much more than just one player.
Everyone in the lineup has to do their job.
In Game 1, the Phillies got just that from their entire team.
Game 2 will need to have much of the same for the Phillies.
They will be starting Aaron Nola on the mound, and he is coming off an inconsistent season.
But, all that matters is how well he pitches in the playoffs.
Giving Nola an early lead can be crucial for the Phillies.
Like any pitcher, having the lead when on the mound makes things much easier.
Expect to see the Phillies aggressive at the plate to try and take the early lead.
There is something special brewing in Philadelphia, and it could end up leading them back to the World Series.
