Throughout his career in the NFL, which spanned over a decade, star running back Marshawn Lynch played for some great teams, especially during his stint with the Seattle Seahawks, where he won a Super Bowl title under Pete Carroll.
During his time with the Seahawks, Lynch played alongside some great players, with superstar quarterback Russell Wilson more than likely being the most notable of the bunch in Seattle.
Even though Lynch had a lot of success in Seattle while Wilson was making a name for himself as one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, the 37-year-old recently made a stunning admission regarding which quarterback was the best he ever played with.
The obvious answer would be Wilson because he didn’t really play with any notable quarterbacks while he was with the Buffalo Bills, and Derek Carr was good but not great during his time with the then-Oakland Raiders.
Interestingly enough, Lynch was recently asked this question by former NFL player Shannon Sharpe, who said that Aaron Rodgers, who the running back played with in college at Cal, was the best quarterback he’s ever played with, via “Club Shay Shay.”
Marshawn Lynch on Aaron Rodgers:
“He’s the best QB I ever played with.” @MoneyLynch tells an incredible story about running the wrong play and @AaronRodgers12 taking the blame for it @CalFootball pic.twitter.com/bQW0fvKgcp

This likely won’t sit well with Wilson or his avid fans, which have been dwindling with every passing week that he’s playing for the Denver Broncos, but at least Lynch is honest.
Lynch even admitted that Rodgers is the reason why he got an opportunity to play at Cal and described how he knew that the quarterback was special on their first play together.
It sounds like it was a touching story for Lynch, with Rodgers sticking up for him, and it ultimately paid off for both players, who went on to be stars on the next level.
