Fewer players on the Philadelphia Eagles received more media attention during the 2023 season than A.J. Brown.
Brown was said to be frustrated with the team, which caused some unrest and irritation within the fanbase.
Despite playing every game in the regular season, Brown ended up missing the Eagles’ Wild Card game, as had a knee injury.
Even though this was an officially reported injury from the team, many fans believe that Brown’s injury wasn’t as serious as he and the team let on.
After seeing all of this go down, Brown lashed out, expressing his frustration towards the situation.
Brown took to Twitter to let out his frustrations, starting with saying, “Philly media is so lame.”
“Philly media is so lame. It’s literally something everyday. Then the fans be believe the bs. They really should start raising the prices of microphones and cameras because you people will say anything for views. I see why nobody likes us because we don’t even like us,” Brown said.

He later blamed the media for letting fans believe certain things about players, which he believes is why “nobody likes” players in the Philadelphia market.
It will be interesting to see what Brown’s future is like with the Eagles, especially after all of his public frustration.
The fanbase doesn’t traditionally like players who oppose the team or are ready to get out the door, so even if Brown is on the roster when the 2024 season starts, he might not be received well.
If Brown does end up wanting out of Philadelphia, we will have to be traded.
He is still contractually tied to the team until 2026 and is guaranteed over $57 million, according to Spotrac.
Brown has proven to be one of the NFL’s best receivers when healthy and is a valuable asset to Jalen Hurts in this offense.
Will he find a way past his frustrations with the team and the local media?
