The Kansas City Chiefs found a way to win the Super Bowl this season despite having the odds stacked against them.
Kansas City did not have their typical regular season where they clinched the number one seed.
Instead, they were the third seed entering the AFC playoffs and had to win two road playoff games on the way to the Super Bowl.
Also, the Chiefs had some unfortunate injuries come their way that they needed to navigate.
One came in the AFC Championship Game when Charles Omenihu tore his ACL.
It was a tough blow to the Chiefs’ defense, but one they were able to overcome.
Omenihu had surgery to repair his torn ACL on Tuesday.
Now, he has a long recovery process ahead of him.
But, some fans are already trying to figure out when Omenihu will be back.
Omenihu sent out a cryptic tweet to some of the people talking about him as a player.
“Love seeing other people trying to gage when I’m going to come back from something. Or what type of player I am. I would think after this year people would stop second guessing me but guess not. I keep all receipts though,” he tweeted.

An ACL injury that late in the season could cause Omenihu to miss games next year.
But, you can bet he will do everything he can to recover as quickly as possible.
Omenihu is coming off a year where he recorded 7.0 sacks in 11 games.
At only 26 years old, he should remain a key contributor to the Chiefs’ defense for many years to come.
One reason the Chiefs were able to repeat is because their defense was so good in 2023.
That kept them in games even when their offense was not clicking.
Next season, the Chiefs will be looking to make NFL history by becoming the first team to ever win three straight Super Bowls.
