The 2023 NFL season already has high drama two weeks into it’s regular season schedule.
The Kansas City Chiefs lost their first season opener during the Patrick Mahomes era.
The Cleveland Browns were still looking for their first 2-0 start since 1993.
Worst yet, Aaron Rodgers and Nick Chubb are out of action due to season-ending injuries.
Ironically, both incidents occurred on Monday Night Football.
Chubb was carted off the field after a knee injury during their clash against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
However, ESPN did not show a replay of what happened, a decision that Dan Patrick disagrees with.
“I would’ve shown it once because you’re carrying the game, and I think you owe it to the audience, and you give a disclaimer. I might be in the minority here, but if I was, running the show, I would say let’s show it once,” Patrick shared on his eponymous show, as shared by JPA Football.

Without the replay, football fans can only speculate about what happened.
Eventually, it was announced that Nick Chubb would miss the remainder of the 2023 season after dislocating his left knee.
It was a promising season for Chubb after earning his first All-Pro selection last year.
Right on cue, he had 18 carries for 106 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1.
His absence in Week 2 was a heavy blow in the Browns’ 26-22 defeat.
The Browns are now looking for answers at running back before they face an elite Tennessee Titans run defense in Week 3.
