For years, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the strongest teams in the AFC.
Josh Allen has established himself among the elite quarterbacks of the game, and they have one of the best defenses in the league as well.
Then again, it seems like this team cannot shake off their playoff woes.
They’ve been on the wrong end of some heartbreaking losses, and just like the Utah Jazz or half of the NBA during the Michael Jordan days, they just happen to come across Patrick Mahomes way too often in the postseason.
Nonetheless, in spite of everything that has transpired, HC Sean McDermott is still positive that his team will hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy (Via The Athletic):
“It’s not a matter of if. It’s just a matter of when,” McDermott said. “That is the relentless pursuit.”
Sean McDermott sees a Lombardi Trophy in his future.
And he believes it will come in Buffalo.

Actually, the Bills have put together a Super Bowl-caliber team, so that should be everything they strive for year in and year out.
Truth be told, this team isn’t that far off.
Still, their title window could close right before their eyes, as they’re in a tough spot in terms of the salary cap.
Allen will be there for years to come, and he’s definitely going to have more opportunities to win the whole thing in his career.
As for McDermott, he might not be the one to lead this team to the big game if they fall short of their goal again next season.
