The Kansas City Chiefs are the best team in the league right now.
They might not have the best stats, and they may not have the deepest roster, but they’ve still won two Super Bowls in a row.
With that in mind, the front office has a prime opportunity to address their issues and make sure to get even better ahead of the upcoming campaign.
That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton wants to see them add more talent to the wide receiver room.
He acknowledged that even though they’ve managed to win back-to-back Super Bowls without Tyreek Hill, they’re no longer an explosive team or a big-play threat, and that might not be sustainable.
Considering that, he thinks Odell Beckham Jr. could be a perfect fit for the Chiefs.
“OBJ would be the perfect kind of guy to join Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City,” Carton said on his show.

OBJ has struggled with injuries for quite a while now, but he’s still potentially a very impactful player, and he’s going to draw plenty of defensive attention.
Also, he might not demand the steep salary other players could.
Carton also made a case for them going after Calvin Ridley, who’s likely to be released by the Jacksonville Jaguars, or even Mike Evans, who has yet to reach an agreement with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Whatever the case, one thing’s for sure: The Chiefs must add a wide receiver or two if they want to three-peat.
