The Denver Broncos need to make a decision about their quarterback situation.
All signs point toward Russell Wilson being shown the door.
He’s listed his mansion in Denver for sale, and the fact that they benched him late in the season makes it seem like HC Sean Payton isn’t thrilled to have him around.
Needless to say, the Broncos now need to do their due diligence to get a suitable replacement, assuming they’re looking to go in that direction.
With that in mind, Broncos reporter Scotty Grange says that the Broncos’ brass, led by GM George Paton, will meet with JJ McCarthy today in Indianapolis.

The Michigan product will be a very busy man this week at the NFL Scouting Combine.
He’s been a bit of a polarizing prospect, with some having him in the first round and others thinking he should go in the second round.
He’s kind of raw, but his mechanics and intangibles are quite solid, and he’s coming off an impressive year with the Michigan Wolverines.
Of course, he doesn’t seem to have the upside of other prospects like Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, or Drake Maye, but he could be the fourth-best QB in this draft class.
The Broncos will have the No. 12 pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, so he could be available there.
Even so, they will most likely continue to assess other quarterbacks, both veterans and rookies, as they navigate the Russell Wilson conundrum in the next couple of weeks.
