The Chicago Bears currently have the best problem any team could possibly have.
They have a potential franchise-caliber quarterback with some upside and the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
However, as good as Justin Fields might turn out to be, Caleb Williams looks like a generational talent, so most people believe they’re going to take him.
With that in mind, Bears GM Ryan Poles admitted that he feels like it wouldn’t be fair to Fields to trade him after the start of free agency if the team, in fact, decides to take Williams (Via Adam Schefter).

Fields recently unfollowed the Bears on social media, and a change of scenery might be just what he needs to finally break out.
When healthy, he’s shown glimpses of great play during his stint in the Windy City, but they never seemed willing to build their offensive game plan around him and his skills.
The Bears have been heavily criticized for their mismanagement of their assets, and they haven’t had an elite quarterback in decades, arguably ever.
Fields is reportedly on multiple teams’ radar, and he could benefit from a different supporting cast and a coaching staff that’s actually looking forward to putting him in a position to succeed.
As for Williams, fans can only hope that the Bears get things right this time, as he seems to be one of the most talented prospects in NFL history, and it would be a huge shame to see his talent go to waste because of mismanagement.
