Defensive end J.J. Watt had an accomplished 12-season NFL career.
Aside from three Defensive Player of the Year awards, he’s also a seven-time All-Pro and five-time Pro Bowler.
He also led the league in sacks twice and in forced fumbles once.
But while he has retired as a player after two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, Watt still has some “what ifs.”
The Pat McAfee Show’s A.J. Hawk asked him about which coach he would have loved to play for.
His answer was obvious, because his brothers have played for him.
“I’ve always said it would have been very interesting to play for Coach Tomlin because I have a ton of respect for him…Hearing T.J. and Derek always tell me about the way he goes about his business and I would have loved that,” Watt shared with Hawk and Pat McAfee.

Mike Tomlin is been one of the longest-tenured head coaches in the NFL today.
He took over the Pittsburgh Steelers from Bill Cowher in 2007 and hasn’t had a losing season.
He also won Super Bowl XLIII with the Steelers in a game that went down to the last minute.
But aside from being a mentor, everyone who has donned the black and yellow uniform during his tenure raves about his personality.
Those players include T.J. Watt, J.J.’s younger brother and the 2021 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
Meanwhile, fullback Derek Watt also played for the Steelers from 2020 to 2022.
If J.J. Watt somehow lined up for Tomlin and Steelers, that’s a defense other NFL teams would be scared of.
