The 2024 NFL Draft is less than two months away, with the Chicago Bears set to be on the clock at No. 1 overall come April 25, with all signs pointing to the storied NFL franchise taking USC superstar quarterback Caleb Williams.
Although Williams is the consensus top prospect heading into the draft, there’s no guarantee he’ll be able to live up to the high expectations he’ll be given once he puts on a Bears jersey for the first time.
However, Williams definitely doesn’t lack confidence, as the former Trojans superstar speaks his mind whenever he gets a chance and has some incredibly high expectations for himself as he begins his NFL journey.
Williams will be shooting high right out of the gate when he gets drafted as he wants to be a Hall of Famer, as he said on SiriusXM NFL Radio.
“I want to be a legend,” Williams said. “I want to have a golden jacket. I want to be the best that I can possibly be, and I think that’s enough to reach that point.”

If Williams does indeed get drafted by the Bears and is able to turn that franchise around while being the team’s first real superstar at the quarterback position, he’ll be well on his way to wearing a golden jacket one day.
Even though the Bears are a prestigious franchise with a lot of history, the team has never gotten the quarterback position right and will have it’s first chance to do so if the team decides to bring in Williams at No. 1 overall.
