The Kansas City Chiefs managed to win the Super Bowl with a rookie wide receiver as their best pass-catcher at the position.
Of course, the Patrick Mahomes-Travis Kelce connection was still one of the best in the league, and that’s not going to change any time soon, but this team needs more help there.
Considering those circumstances, it’s not crazy to see that the Chiefs could be a strong player to get Chicago Bears WR Darnell Mooney, according to a report by Jeremy Fowler of ESPN (via Dov Kleiman).

GM Brett Veach needs to make sure to give Mahomes the weapons he needs to get the team to the Super Bowl again and make history by becoming the first team to hoist the Vince Lombardi trophy three years in a row.
Fowler also reports that the Tennesee Titans could express an interest in his services.
The Titans lost their alpha wide receiver in the A.J. Brown trade, and while DeAndre Hopkins showed strong rapport with Will Levis, he’s not exactly young and might not even be there next season.
Mooney has shown glimpses of great play and is one of the most talented young wideouts in the game, but he’s been unable to live up to the hype either because of injuries or subpar quarterback play.
Perhaps all he needs is a change of scenery to finally fulfill his true potential and become the star most scouts thought he could be, and he shouldn’t be that expensive to get.
