On Monday, the Denver Broncos decided to end the Russell Wilson experiment in the Mile High City, with the team informing the veteran quarterback that he will be released this NFL offseason.
With Wilson set to become an unrestricted free agent, the veteran leader under center will likely have some intriguing options to explore, with a handful of teams expected to be interested in his services.
There are a few prominent teams in the NFL that will be looking for a change and an upgrade at the quarterback position ahead of the 2024 campaign, with the Pittsburgh Steelers potentially being the best win-now option for Wilson.
According to Garland Gillen, the Steelers are the betting favorite to sign Wilson this offseason, followed by the Las Vegas Raiders, Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, and Minnesota Vikings, via DraftKings Sportsbook.
The Pittsburgh Steelers (-225) are the betting favorite to land Russell Wilson. Raiders (+275), Falcons (+450), Patriots (+750), and Vikings (+1000) are next in the odds.

All five of the teams linked to Wilson will be looking to address the quarterback position during the NFL offseason, but some of them might be looking to the 2024 NFL Draft in order to do it, with the Raiders and Patriots likely selecting a quarterback in the upcoming draft.
As for the Falcons, it appears that veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins might be the team’s top target, with Wilson being a backup option if he’s still available.
The Vikings might also be an intriguing option for Wilson, as they might not be far from a playoff team if he joins them.
The Raiders might be a fallback option if Las Vegas can’t get their target in the draft, which is said to be Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels.
