The Denver Broncos made a difficult, but necessary decision just before free agency by cutting quarterback Russell Wilson and choosing to eat an NFL-record $85 million in dead money.
Denver will now likely look to the draft to find its next future signal-caller on a rookie deal while they ride out the rest of the Wilson deal.
As for Wilson, the 35-year-old is now looking for his next home, and DraftKings Sportsbook already has odds available for which team will sign the former Super Bowl champion.
The Steelers are the heavy favorite at -200, followed by the Raiders at +275, the Falcons at +400, the Patriots at +750, and the Vikings at +1000.

It’s easy to talk yourself into Russ heading to Pittsburgh, as the Steelers have underwhelmed in the first two years of the Kenny Pickett era and have a roster ready to win right now.
The Raiders saw some flashes from rookie Aidan O’Connell this past season and have the 13th overall pick to bring in another rookie potentially, or head coach Antonio Pierce could opt for Wilson to try to bring more stability to his offense.
The Falcons and Patriots both have top-10 picks, new head coaches, and rosters more suited for a rookie quarterback.
It would be a tough sell for either of those fanbases to bring in Wilson after what each respective franchise has had to endure at QB after losing Matt Ryan and Tom Brady.
The Vikings at +1000 is an intriguing betting option here, as they have a trend of going with veteran QBs over rookies (Brett Favre, Case Keenum, Kirk Cousins, etc.) and have an offense loaded with weapons.
